Data processing policy for calculator-library.online.
This personal data processing policy is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of 7 May 2021 No. 99-Z 'On the Protection of Personal Data' and defines the procedure for processing personal data and the measures taken to ensure their security by IE Popova Yu.A. (hereinafter — the Operator).
1. Definitions
The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:
- 1.1.Website — the totality of all information (textual and graphical) and software services located on the internet at www.calculator-library.online, belonging to the Operator.
- 1.2.Website Administration — employees of the Operator authorised to modify the information and services of the Website.
- 1.3.User — any person who accesses the Website and uses its services.
- 1.4.Parties — the Operator and the User who have accepted the terms of this Policy.
- 1.5.Personal data — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable individual (personal data subject).
- 1.6.Processing of personal data — any action or set of actions performed on personal data, including collection, recording, storage, clarification, use, transfer, anonymisation, blocking, deletion, and destruction.
- 1.7.Anonymised data — data that does not allow identification of the specific personal data subject.
- 1.8.Cookies — technical data sent by the Website to the User's browser and stored on their device; transmitted back to the Website on each subsequent visit.
- 1.9.localStorage — the User's browser local storage used to save calculator field states and user preferences solely on the User's device.
- 1.10.IP address — the User's technical address on the internet.
2. General Provisions
- 2.1.This Privacy Policy applies to all information the Website may obtain about the User in the course of their use of it.
- 2.2.Use of the Website by the User constitutes consent to this Privacy Policy and the data processing terms.
- 2.3.If the User disagrees with the terms of this Policy, they must stop using the Website.
- 2.4.This Policy applies only to the Website. The Operator does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites and services that the User may access via links from the Website.
- 2.5.The Operator does not verify the accuracy of data that the User enters into calculator fields.
3. What Data Is Collected
- 3.1.The Operator does not collect or store personal data of Users. No registration is provided on the Website; no forms requiring personal data need to be filled in.
- 3.2.All calculations are performed exclusively in the User's browser. Data entered into calculator fields is not transmitted to the Operator's servers.
- 3.3.To enhance usability, the Website stores the following data in the browser's localStorage: calculator field states (last entered values); user preferences (theme, interface density). This data is stored solely on the User's device, is not transmitted to the Operator, and can be deleted by the User at any time via the browser.
- 3.4.The Website collects Users' IP addresses as part of standard web server technical logging. This information is used solely to ensure the operability and security of the Website and does not allow personal identification of the User.
- 3.5.Anonymised usage statistics (traffic, user behaviour, device characteristics) are collected using the Yandex Metrica service. This analytics data does not allow personal identification of the User. Users may accept or decline analytics cookies via the consent banner displayed on their first visit to the Website.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
The Operator uses the data specified in Section 3 exclusively for the following purposes:
- 4.1.Ensuring the technical operability and security of the Website (IP addresses, server logs).
- 4.2.Analysing anonymised usage statistics to improve the Website (Yandex Metrica).
- 4.3.Saving user preferences and calculator states between sessions (localStorage).
5. Sharing Data with Third Parties
- 5.1.The Operator does not sell or transfer User data to third parties for commercial purposes.
- 5.2.The Operator may provide technical specialists with access to the Website and its technical data solely for the purpose of maintaining, servicing, and developing the Website.
- 5.3.The Yandex Metrica service processes anonymised Website usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy. The Operator does not control and is not responsible for the processing of data by this service.
- 5.4.User data may be transferred to authorised state authorities of the Republic of Belarus only on the grounds and in the manner established by the laws of the Republic of Belarus.
6. Obligations of the Parties
- 6.1.The Operator undertakes not to disclose anonymised and technical User data without legal grounds.
- 6.2.The Operator undertakes to take the necessary organisational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorised access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, and distribution.
- 6.3.The Operator undertakes to notify the User in the event of loss or compromise of data if such loss may affect their interests.
- 6.4.The User undertakes not to use the Website in ways that violate the laws of the Republic of Belarus.
- 6.5.The User undertakes to independently control the distribution of links containing calculator state (input data) generated using the 'Share' function.
7. Liability of the Parties
- 7.1.The Operator is not liable if User data became publicly available prior to its loss or disclosure.
- 7.2.The Operator is not liable if the data was disclosed with the User's own consent.
- 7.3.The Operator is not liable if the data was disclosed by third-party websites and services (including Yandex Metrica) as a result of the User's independent use of those services.
- 7.4.Since the Operator does not collect personal data, the User bears sole responsibility for any data they voluntarily publish through the link sharing function.
8. Dispute Resolution
- 8.1.Before filing a claim in court regarding disputes arising from the relationship between the Parties, a mandatory precondition is the submission of a claim (a written proposal for voluntary settlement of the dispute).
- 8.2.The recipient of the claim shall notify the claimant in writing of the outcome of the review within 30 calendar days of receiving the claim.
- 8.3.If an agreement is not reached, the dispute shall be referred to a court in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Belarus.
- 8.4.This Privacy Policy and the relationship between the User and the Operator are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Belarus.
9. Additional Terms
- 9.1.The Operator may amend this Privacy Policy without the User's consent.
- 9.2.Amendments to the Privacy Policy take effect from the moment they are published on the Website.
